Lisa graduated college and established a career in advertising and sales before her life path
took a dramatic change. She married Tim Robertson and her focus shifted the art of raising
five children. Eager to follow God’s leading in this new stage of life, Lisa began leading Bible
studies for women. She eventually founded Changing Seasons, an outreach ministry for
women, and became an advocate for early childhood education in the state of Virginia. Today
Lisa readily shares what she has learned about following God’s path through life’s changing

“As I moved from one stage of life to the next, the theme of a ‘path of life’ stood out to me as
I studied more of the Bible,” writes Robertson. “The path of life is created by God just for you.
God has a personal path for each one of us.”

The cornerstone of Lisa’s new book is Psalm 16:11, “You will make known to me the path of
life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Lisa first
noticed this verse on a wedding gift card when she married Tim Robertson, and the verse has
guided her life ever since.

Filled with poignant stories and Biblical truth, The Path of Life invites readers to develop new
sensitivity to God’s leading. “Finding God’s path for your life is not a mystery or impossible,”
she explains. “When I ask the Lord to show me the way or to help me make a wise decision,
often I have this thought: Do what you know to do. Or simply, Take the next step. Just one step.”
