Soul Food: October 18th, 2017

This Chicken, Broccoli and Sweet Potato Sheet Pan Dinneris delicious and easy, all the way around.  Thanks to Emily Leyfor the link!

We know cold weather is here, but over the weekend, we tasted our first "Frose" (that's a frozen rose if you didn't know), and we may never go back.  Make your own Frose here. So fun, beautiful, and delicious!

We've never seen 500 square feet look more inviting.

How precious are these kids' rain boots?

Our friend and contributor, Jeannie Cunnion had a fun "Momversation" with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sissy Goff, and Courtney DeFeo. Watch the full "Mom Set Free" event here.

Emily from Jones' Design Company shares her favorite Podcasts.  Still not sure how to access Podcasts?  Do you have an iPhone?  You have your very own Podcast App!  Search Podcasts on it and go from there!  (We're especially excited about Christy Nockels' new podcast, "The Glorious in the Mundane")

Current obsession: draft lattes from La Colombe.  They're not the cheapest can you can buy, but they're worth it (and cheaper than an iced latte at your local coffee shop!)  Order online, or find them at Harris Teeter or Whole Foods.  Seriously, they will change. your. life.

Past Changing Seasons' speakers Linceee Ray and Melanie Shankle is pretty much the best. combination. ever.
That's why we're THRILLED that Melanie is the latest guest on Lincee's podcast.  Listen here.

Love these ideas for a fun "friend date" that won't break the bank.

That's it for this week! Can't get enough?!? Check out past editions of Soul Food Weekly here.
